High Refractive Index Materials

Superior resins are specially formulated with ultra-high refractive index and unparalleled optical transparency. Our specialized formulas combined with selectable curing methods facilitate high-fidelity nanopatterning using Nanoimprint Lithography (NIL) or can be used as a coating with varying thicknesses to meet customers’ application needs.

Fiber Photonics

HighRI’s Fiber photonics removes the challenges associated with free-space optics and enables reliable and stable manipulation of light in a small footprint. HighRI’s innovations in fiber nanoimprinting open up a whole world of capabilities for fiber optics technology and a wide variety of applications.

Metrology Solution

Precise and accurate measurement results in reliable data and are the foundation for dependable equipment, machines., and devices. HighRI offers the technology for quantitative instrument calibration and data reconstruction via Instrument Transfer Function (ITF) for improved confidence in the measured data.

APPLICATIONS & INDUSTRIES

Nanopatterning & Optical Coatings

HighRI’s proprietary functional ultra-high refractive index materials are optimized for nanoimprint lithography and for optical coatings with refractive indices from 1.8 to 2.00 at 590 nm.

Wavefront Manipulation

HighRI’s fiber photonics technology can precisely manipulate the phase and wavefront of light, with many added advantages such as reproducibility, stability, compact size, and cost.

Super-Resolution Imaging

HighRI’s fiber nanoimprint technology enables manufacturing of “Campanile” near-field probes, one of the most promising near-field probes today for nanospectroscopic imaging.

Instrument Transfer Function (ITF) Characterization and Reconstruction

Confidence in the measurement results provided by a metrology tool depends crucially on the ability to characterize or calibrate it. In addition, characterization can improve the performance of a metrology instrument by enabling data processing to mitigate the effects of its imperfections.

ABOUT US

HighRI Optics, Inc. is a spin-off company of aBeam Technologies, Inc. headquartered in Oakland, CA. We develop advanced optical materials and applications. Our proprietary and patented high refractive index optical materials enable advanced optics applications. Fiber nanoimprint technology dramatically simplifies light manipulation at the nanometer scale.

The development of a product can range in quantities from a prototype to pilot production in the shortest time possible.

In 2015, the nanofabrication team was previously recognized with the prestigious R&D 100 award (under aBeam Technologies, Inc.).
